Optic camera detector description:

"Optic" is a professional hidden camera detector designed to detect and locate hidden or camouflaged camcorders and pinhole cameras, regardless of their status (on/off). The reverse reflection from hidden camera lenses will be seen thru Optic-2 oculars as a green or red dots.

Optic camera detector features:

  • Rigid rubberized metal enclosure;
  • Two oculars allows operator to look through Optic-2 with both eyes;
  • Dioptric adjustment allows operator to work without glasses and fine tune the device to get sharp images;
  • 6.5x zoom helps to inspect difficult to reach area from a distance;

WEGAi Detector of hidden video cameras

This unique device was created for professionals in the sphere of the surveilance countermeasures. Thanks to its optical principle the WEGA i can discover lenses of all types of covert cameras not depending on their working state. The WEGA's LED matrix radiates a powerful infrared beam which is then reflected by a video camera's optics and is easily detected by the operator. The IR-filtering glass built into the WEGA i helps the operator to avoid natural reflections from surfaces and concentrate on finding the exact location of a hidden camera.

VORON is designed for a quick detection of concealed micro video cameras, including those with pinhole lenses.

The principle of detection is based on effect of light reflection or “return flare”. Thus, when a concealed target is detected, there is a bright red spot (reflection from a video camera lens) in the VORON's field of vision.

Detecting distance of concealed video cameras with pinhole lenses (diameter of 1mm) can be from 1m to 20m depending on operational conditions. VORON employs LED illumination of targets what makes it a safe-to-use device for operator (unlike laser illumination).

Operation on optical basis, but not radio frequency range, allows this device to detect any optical device regardless of its operating mode (on/off) and data transmission type (radio or cable). Therefore, a radio interference, electromagnetic shield, masking gauze or lens hood does not reduce the likelihood of detection.

Main features:

  • Technical solutions used in the VORON (roof prism and translucent optics) allowed to make its design exceptionally compact by retaining excellent optical characteristics: high magnification, wide field of view and exceptional image quality.
  • Efficient impulse source of power supply ensures a long operation time from one AA-type battery (1,5 V).
  • VORON case is made of aluminum alloy; it has a hand strap and soft rubber eyeshade.
  • The device is easy-to-use and does not require any special skills.

GCU-OCD20 is designed for search and visualisation the place of portable systems of secret observation (SOS - Secret Observation System), camouflaged in the interior items, clothing and household goods for personal use, working or disconnected compact cameras under different lighting conditions. Device allows to detect electro-optical surveillance systems through the window as well as tined glasse, organic glass, and semitransparent mirror.
Basic operation principle is "cat's eye" effect (light-reflecting effect) lying in ability of optical objects to reflect probing radiation in opposite direction with angle close to its incidence angle. Semi-conducting laser IR diode (transmitting channel) serves as the source of probing radiation. The reflected signal is registered by sensitive video camera on the basis of interleave transfer sensor 1/3// (reception channel). The Device is developed on non-parallax optical scheme, i.e. with optical alignment of reception and transmitting channels.
 
Transmitting channel generates laser beam in the form of vertically located rectangular raster. Ability of illuminating raster can be changed if necessary, depending on distance to surveillance object, for reception of the best image contrast. Image focusing on sharpness is carried out by adjustment of video camera objective.

Visualization of surveillance objects is carried out through built in pseudo-binocular. In order to receive better images the body of the Device is equipped with fastening and connection for external 5"LCD-monitor (delivered on request of the Customer), and also with external CCIR standard video signal socket for connection with external monitor, video recorder or computer (with video input card).
