ST-300 Spider Wire Line Analyser
ST-300 Spider application:
Wire lines analyser ST-300 SPIDER has a set of most common features implemented allowing to detect and localization of wired eavesdropping devices.
ST-300 Spider main features:
- Detection and evaluation of low-frequency signals in low-current conductive lines;
- Activation of electret cable microphones by filing an in-line bias voltage;
- Detection of eavesdropping devices signals, which are transmitting information via power and low-current lines in the frequency range from 100 kHz to 150 MHz;
- Detection and assessment of unauthorized galvanic connections to conductive lines using methods of non-linear junction detection and reflectometry;
- Tracking wire lines laid in walls and other building structures using trace locator.
Use of automated mode of the analyzer, in combination with an electronic commutator, allows to carry out various kinds of measurements on all the possible combinations of pairs of multi-wire cable in a few seconds. Adapters, couplers and cables, included in the ST-300 SPIDER delivery set, allows connecting the device to the most common types of wired lines. The device can be used in standalone mode or controlled from a personal computer.
Modes of operation:
The successful detection of wired eavesdropping devices is ensured by the multifunctionality of ST 300, appropriate accessory pack and the use of passive and active modes of operation.
ST-300 unique technical solutions and implemented algorithms allows to use this device in the following modes:
- Electronic commutator;
- Low-frequency amplifier;
- Wireline receiver;
- Non-linear junction detector for wire lines;
- Reflectometer;
- Trace locator.
Switching ST-300 in any of these modes is carried out automatically when a particular probe is connected. At the same time, the device can only operate in one of the main modes.
